Conservatory Job Applications

The Arkansas/Oklahoma Conservatory of Music is a five week program for 80 campers that is held at Camp Heart O' Hills in Welling, Oklahoma. The goal of the Conservatory is to train young people in the arts so they can participate in worship services at their local Salvation Army church. We are striving for spiritual and artistic excellence in our service to the Lord. Our ultimate aim is for everyone, campers and staff alike, to deepen their relationship with Christ. Campers can major in one of six areas (brass, percussion, piano, guitar, dance, and stagecraft), and everyone is involved in a chorus. There are also a number of electives that are based on the skills, interests, and abilities of the staff.

We are seeking Godly men and women to serve as leaders in this program. Not every position requires a staff member to be a musician, though we are happy for non-music instructors to participate in teaching if they have the desire and ability. Conservatory staff members have the opportunity to take part in developing young people into quality artists and leaders, exemplify a positive Christian witness, and provide a safe and fun environment for everyone. This program has proven to be a life changing event for many campers and staff members over the years, and we hope you will consider joining our team!

Staff members are expected to be available for orientation from June 7th-12th. Conservatory then runs from June 13th-July 16th. See more info about Conservatory by clicking the tabs to the right.
