Chickasaw Brass

Chickasaw Brass is the divisional intermediate brass band. This band is for those who have moved beyond the beginner level. Under the capable leadership of Major Michelle Robbins, bandsmen in this group will learn how to play simple Salvation Army pieces and tunes. The focus of this group will be preparing its members to play regularly at the corps level, and to develop young people in preparation for Cherokee Brass.

Chickasaw Brass meets a significant need in the AOK division, as there are many players who are no longer beginners, but are not quite ready for Cherokee Brass. This group will provide them the training, experience, and development they need in order to become better musicians and bandsmen.
