Sermon on the Mound
The musical centers around spring training for the Eagles baseball team. There's a new rookie, Mac Wire, who has been training with the team for forty days and forty nights, but is scared about tripping in the outfield, dropping the ball, and striking out. Mac learns the important lessons: We need to "suit up" in the armor of God, and should use God's word when the heat is on; each person is important and it takes a team; the world says you're finished when you strike out, but that's not so with Jesus Christ; and that the best players are the ones who spend most time with their "Head Coach"
