DARTS REGISTRATION

We are excited to begin the 2026-27 Divisional Music and Arts (DArts) season!

DArts is a music and arts training program that offers ensembles and classes for all skill levels and disciplines. No audition or prior experience is required. Every musician and artist in the division has a place at DArts and should attend. Beyond training, these rehearsals foster community and fellowship across the AOK Division, and our desire is for every corps to participate.

Registration

Due Monday, September 14 at noon

Registration is completed through AOKMUSICANDARTS.COM. It is a little more extensive for this first registration, but it makes registration very simple and fast for the rest of the season.

This month, register anyone who may attend DArts at any point during the 2026-27 season. There is an option to indicate whether a delegate will attend in September.

For October through May, registration takes less than a minute! After the initial registration, a master roster is created for each corps. To register for future sessions, visit the DArts registration page, select your corps, and simply mark each delegate as Attending or Not Attending. New delegates can also be added at any time from your corps page.

For a step-by-step guide, view the instruction video.

Classes and Age Range

DArts welcomes participants ages 8 and older. Childcare is available for children under 8 whose families are attending classes.

Adults are encouraged to participate, including those with no prior experience. If someone is interested in learning, we encourage you to register them. We also have advanced groups, such as the AOK Divisional Band, for adults.

Classes are offered in the following disciplines:

  • Brass Band & Percussion

  • Guitar

  • Piano

  • Dance

  • Theater

  • Visual Art

Corps Chaperone

Corps sending delegates under age 18 should designate a corps chaperone. The chaperone may participate in a group or simply serve as a driver.

The corps chaperone is responsible for registration, attendance, and addressing any needs, emergencies, or disciplinary issues involving their delegates.

Arrival and Departure

Registration begins at 7:15 p.m. Friday at the Conservatory. Please do not arrive before this time.

DArts concludes at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Delegates are expected to remain until their rehearsal space and cabin have been cleaned and organized. Pickup may take place at the Conservatory once these responsibilities have been completed.

Housing

Housing details will be shared with corps officers. Delegates ages 8-17 will usually stay in cabins and should bring bedding. Young adults will usually be asked to serve as counselors or stay in a cabin for young adults. In both cases, they should bring bedding. All others will typically be housed in the Conference Center and do not need bedding.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you,
